The entire experience at “Nalanda” is a pleasure.
The School focuses on adequate sports coaching along with adequate and wherever needed extra classes for academics, Music and Painting.
We believe that our strength is our immediate stakeholder – our students and teachers, where we have a healthy mix of students from various social, regional, religious back grounds. Our teachers are instrumental in providing a very varied exposure and knowledge to students thus making the academics more meaningful.
We have witnessed a total development in our student’s physical conditions thus reducing absentism due to illness.
In our short time of existence we pride ourselves in training our students to participate in competitions like the exams conducted by the Science Olympiad foundation, the Avantika – Art Olympiad. Students have also cleared the Fine Arts exams and the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandals’ The school is planned around green energy and would deploy Green resources in the near future.
Standing tall among the ancient seats of learning in India is the Nalanda. Flourishing for about 800 years between 5th to 12th century, it attracted students and teachers not just from India but also from Tibet, China, Korea and Central Asia.
Every facility existed to study the vast array of subjects, the fields of learning uniquely varied from science to arts, sacred to secular and philosophical to practical. The public debates among teachers, students and visiting scholars ensured that logic and critical interpretation found their way into every discipline. The presence of students and teachers from various countries also helped expand the horizons of knowledge and teaching methods.
"The adoption of the unique multidisciplinary approach of the ancient Nalanda by it’s modern counterpart,
while staying relevant to the future, is a fitting tribute."
