The house structure at Nalanda is deviced to increase competitive spirit, co-operation, organizational skils, participation, leadership, group loyalty and to celebrate every achievement.
Although the house structure was first implemented in the United Kingdom, we have used named the houses to reflect the Indian belief system and its supportive pillars namely –
How it works?
A student at, the time of admission is allotted a house and he she stays with the same house throughout his/ her tenure with the school. Various office bearers are elected from among the house members each year to manage , organize and motivate house activities.
Each student's achievement and participation in academics, discipline, sports, extra and co-curricular, club and hobby classes along with outreach program participation are scored and is cumulated towards the house score. The best scoring house is awarded the house trophy on an annual basis.
